ABOUT US · BANGSAR, KUALA LUMPUR
We think small businesses deserve patient, thoughtful technology support

How Lestari AI came to be
Lestari AI started with a simple observation: small business owners in Malaysia were hearing a lot about AI, but most of what they found was either too expensive, too technical, or too generic to be useful in day-to-day work.
We're a small team — a few people who've spent time working in technology and who've also spent time running and supporting smaller businesses. That combination matters to us. It means we know what it feels like to juggle too many tasks, to worry about whether a new tool will actually save time or just add another thing to learn.
We set up in Bangsar in early 2024 with the intention of offering something different: AI integration that works at the pace of the business, shaped by what each owner actually needs, without pressure or unnecessary complexity.
OUR MISSION
What we're here to do
Our aim is to make AI genuinely useful for the kind of business that doesn't have a dedicated IT department — a café, a small consultancy, a family-run shop, a solo practitioner.
We're not selling transformation or promising that everything will change overnight. We're offering something more grounded: a good look at where time is being lost, a sensible way to recover some of it, and support through the whole process so nothing feels abandoned.

HOW WE WORK
Standards we hold ourselves to
Data handled with care
We only access data that's needed for the work. Nothing is stored beyond the engagement and nothing is shared with outside parties.
Clear scoping from the start
Before any work begins, we write down what we're doing, when each step happens, and what you'll receive at the end. No surprises.
Ongoing check-ins
We don't disappear once the work starts. We keep in touch, share progress in plain language, and make space for your questions at every stage.
Tested before handover
Whatever we build or set up is tested in your actual context — not just in theory. We make sure it works the way you expect before walking away.
Written guidance included
You'll receive clear written guidance with every service — something you or your team can refer back to when you need a reminder.
PDPA-conscious approach
Our approach to data handling is informed by Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act. We're mindful of the obligations you have as a business owner.
OUR APPROACH
AI integration for small businesses in Malaysia
Small businesses across Malaysia — from Bangsar to Penang to Johor Bahru — are facing a similar question: how do we use AI without getting lost in it? The tools available are developing quickly, and the claims made about them are often larger than what they actually deliver for a business of ten or twenty people.
Lestari AI focuses on what's achievable and useful within a realistic time frame. A customer chat helper that answers common questions in a natural, helpful tone. A workflow review that finds where hours are being lost each week. A data summary setup that turns spreadsheets and transaction records into something readable and actionable.
We work with owners who are curious about AI but haven't yet had a reason to try it — and with those who've tried something before and found it didn't quite fit. Either way, the process starts the same: a conversation about your business, not a sales pitch about technology.
Want to understand how we might help your business?
A conversation costs nothing. We'll listen first and suggest something only if it seems like a genuine fit.
